Why I'm Building This
I've been fighting an uphill battle with learning since I was a kid. Learning disabilities meant I had to work twice as hard just to keep up with my peers. But I never gave up — I pushed through, developed resilience, and learned to adapt.
When I got to university in 2023, everything changed. The workload became overwhelming, and the time and effort required to study with traditional methods was simply too great to endure. I was spending countless hours but barely remembering anything.
That's when I discovered the science of learning. I dove deep into research on spaced repetition, active recall, and cognitive science. I started experimenting with these evidence-based techniques and the results were incredible — I was learning more efficiently and actually retaining what I studied.
I built a personalized study system that worked for me, combining the best of cognitive science with practical tools. But I realized something important: there are countless other students out there facing similar struggles, working harder than they need to because they don't have access to effective learning methods.
That's why I'm building LeanorAI. It's not just another study tool — it's a solution built by someone who truly understands the challenges of learning differently. A tool that makes effective learning accessible to everyone who needs it.
My mission? Help every student who struggles with traditional methods find a better way to learn, remember, and succeed.
